I had such high hopes for her as Jean, but now I'm just hoping Marvel Studios doesn't touch the Phoenix Saga for at least a decade. I'm just so tired.

I don't know about this movie, man. I just don't know. Why is Genosha apparently a mutant summer camp on an island in the middle of a lake? Has Sophie Turner's American accent improved at all? Will they give Alexandra Shipp more to do? Why does this look like a shot-by-shot remake of The Last Stand? Why did Fox drop "X-Men" from the title?

I really wish Fox had gone all-in with Apocalypse and just done an Age of Apocalypse universe. At least it would be different. (And now I'm pissed about Apocalypse, and really want to start an Age of Apocalypse game.)

One of the (many) travesties of this movie is casting Oscar Isaac and painting him fucking blue. (Other travesties include Sophie Turner's American accent and complete mis/under-use of Storm, who still doesn't have a solo movie, despite Fox being on Wolverine 27: But Old Now.)
