I'm going to try to finish up the Avengers: Endgame, Spider-man: Far From Home, and Roswell, New Mexico icons before I end up distracted by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We'll see how well that works.

She really is perfectly cast as Magik in the New Mutants movie, and it kills me that Fox ruined it before they'd even done reshoots. At this point, I fully expect Disney to just release it on Disney+ because they can't fix what was done to it (taking it from a straight-up superhero horror movie and turning it into yet another bland Fox-X-men movie.)

I really, really didn't like Steve's ending, which makes me sad since this movie made me love MCU!Cap again. Then Old Man Rogers showed up, the directors and the writers wouldn't shut up about the ending, and they and half the fandom treated Peggy Carter like some prize Steve had won.

Steve Rogers deserved better. Peggy Carter deserved better. Sharon Carter deserved better. Hell, Emily VanCamp fucking deserved better, especially after sections of the fandom told her to kill herself just for playing a character who got between whatever their preferred ship was.

In the end, the only good thing to come out of it was Sam Wilson, Captain America. /rant

(No, really, up until the last five minutes, I loved Steve in this movie)

I've updated my t-do list to include everything I could remember from Marvel's MCU announcements that they made last night. It's all exciting, I'm looking forward to making icons from all of it. What I'm not looking forward to is making all the caps or someone else having to make all those caps (so, so sorry, iseethelight!).

But! The entire (announced, since there's at least four roles they didn't announce last night that I know of) The Eternals cast! Awkwafina in Shang-chi! Actually, everyone in Shang-chi! Natalie Portman back as Jane Foster and she gets to be Thor! Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau! Mahershala Ali as Blade! Whoever they cast as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye!

It's gonna be a great Phase Four of the MCU.
